Whether you’re new to training or looking to keep your skills sharp, find new ways to nurture the relationship between you and your dog

What does your dog need?

When it comes to training options, we have several to chose from:

Assessments

Assessments are $200 and are scheduled for 1 hour. This is an opportunity for us to get an in-depth history on your dog(s), chat about goals, and create a game plan as to how we’re going to reach those goals. This is an opportunity to ask all the questions you may have, as well as an opportunity for us to see your dog(s) and the interactions you have with them, in person.

There is an additional $25 charge per additional dog participating from the same household. Assessments take place at our Dade City location, however we are happy to travel to a location of your choice (a travel charge may be applied). You will also receive a follow-up email with some tips, tricks, and pointers to get you started.

From there, we both can determine if we are a good fit for one another and you can confirm which service you want to jump in to.

Private Sessions

Private sessions are $150 each and are scheduled for 1 hour. Now that we have the assessment, as well as goals and a game plan – it’s time to execute! Sessions take place at our Dade City location, however we are happy to travel to a location of your choice (a travel charge may be applied).

Anything and everything can be worked on during this time (ex. place work, crate training, public exposure and confidence building, competitive heeling, bite-work, etc.). There is an additional $25 charge per additional dog participating, from the same household.

You will also receive a follow-up email with a summary of the session, as well as pertinent information and homework for you to get started on. These sessions are a la carte, which means we schedule them as you request them; there is no commitment to buy several at a time or stick to a certain type of schedule.

Board & Train

Board & Trains are great options for clients whose dogs require more in-depth and personal training.

It can also be a great option for owners who want to expedite training. We have different types of Board & Trains available:

1. Pet B&T: for our clients with house pets/does not include bite work
2. Hybrid B&T: for our clients who are just getting started with bite work or personal protection, but still wanting many aspects of what our Pet B&T offers
3. Working B&T: for our clients solely focusing on bite sports or personal protection

For all three options, your dog will stay with us for an agreed amount of time, and during this time your dog will live in our home and be treated just as our own dogs are treated. They will receive multiple training sessions throughout the day, working towards learning new behaviors and reaching the goals you have outlined for us to teach them during their stay. These said training sessions happen multiple times a day can consist of but aren’t limited to: crate training, place work, leash manners and heeling, auto behaviors, socialization, desensitization, confidence building, exposure work, public access work, etc.

As you can see, we are able to customize our Board & Trains around the clients needs (ex. puppy raising, basic obedience, specialty training, sport training, behavior modification, protection dog training, etc.) ensuring that we cater to each dog and families goals and desires. We do not follow a one-size-fits-all program nor do we believe every dog should fall in to a cookie cutter program. Each dog and family is different.

Board & Trains offer the consistent daily training that will allow your dog to work through the toughest of issues in a shorter amount of time than a private session or workshop can offer. These Board & Train options come in a daily ($200/$300/$400), weekly ($1,000/$1,500/$2,000), or monthly ($4,000/$6,000/$8,000) package option. We highly recommend new B&T clients start with a 3 week stay or longer for the best results, however it of course also depends on your goals and budget.

For all first-time Board & Train dogs who book 2 or more weeks, we offer a free Board & Tune within 45 days of their go-home. This means, you will receive 3 free days (2 nights) of a Board & Tune which serves as a follow up “fine tuning” of their training, ensuring they are where they should be and any kinks have been worked out since their original B&T. It also ensure that our clients are held accountable to keep up with go-home training.

On average, we book about 1-2 months in advance. Prong collars are included in all B&T’s, however e-collars are not. We also have prong buckles and double-sided safety clips available at an additional cost. B&T dates do not have holiday charges added; holiday charges are added for regular boarding services only.

Group Training

Classes, workshops, open gym’s, pack walks and seminars vary in price and are held on various dates and times, month-to-month. These various dates and times can be seen on our clients-only Facebook group, or our public Instagram and Facebook pages.

Virtual Training

is a great option for those who want to train with us however don’t live near us. We have done virtual training with clients in Europe, all over North America, and even in South America. Pricing is $50 for 30 minutes and $75 for 60 minutes. Generally happens via FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom. Virtual sessions can be held by Veronica or Megan.

Regular Boarding

is available for clients only, and is $65 per day. If you aren’t a client yet but are interested in boarding with us, we suggest an assessment be done first, at the least. As we are a home environment, not a traditional kennel, we have limited spots for boarding. Boarding dogs get 3-5 outings per day, backyard time, and swimming time in the pool (if they know how to swim). This option is not to be confused with a Board & Train. Please note holidays are $100 per day, instead of $65.

The cost is $25 per visit and it typically takes about 15 minutes.

Basic grooming

services include a bath and nail trim for $25. We can separate the bath ($20) from nail trim ($10) however by doing both you save $5. Started and finished dogs

are available sporadically with prices ranging anywhere from $5,000 to $80,000+ depending on their breed, training level, pedigree, titles, and more. Typically we work with 4 main breeds: Labradors, Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and German Shepherds.

Theses dogs can be sold as active pet dogs, working dogs, sport dogs, protection dogs, etc. That being said, we have two main options available: dogs that are available and ready-to-go (currently living in our home, or a trainers home), or having a hand-selected puppy sought out, purchased, and trained for you tailored to you and your families needs; whether that be a family pet or a fully trained protection dog.

Finally, we have excellent relationships with a plethora of the finest breeders of these breeds who often have litters on the ground. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we surely can find someone reputable who does.
